Whittaker Contracting is seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our team in full‐time positions supporting our Orange Based Workshop and at our local Cadia Mine.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of heavy mining and earthmoving equipment
n
Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic and electrical systems
n
Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on work completed
n
Provide a high level of service to our mining and construction clients
n
Adhere to all workplace health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
n
n
About You
n
n
Trade qualified Diesel Fitter or Automotive Mechanic
n
Robust mechanical and technical skills with a proactive problem‐solving approach
n
Excellent communication skills and a customer‐focused attitude
n
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to various mine sites
n
