In Australia, our primary focus is our premium, home‐grown almonds, with processing operations based in regional Victoria.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced
Safety Business Partner
to join our Carwarp Almond Processing Plant. This is a site‐based role that partners closely with operational and functional leaders to embed solid safety, health, environmental and quality practices across the Carwarp site, including the Almond Processing Facility, Stockpads and Biochar unit. The role also provides support to other sites as required. This position reports to the
Head of Almond Processing Operations
and plays a critical role in shaping safety culture, strengthening leadership capability, and ensuring compliance with legislative and corporate SHE standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Partnering with leaders to embed effective SHE risk management and continuous improvement across operations
Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, environmental regulations and ofi global SHE standards
Leading and supporting incident reporting, investigations and corrective action management
Driving safety culture through engagement, coaching, training and leadership development
Managing and continuously improving safety management systems, data and reporting
Overseeing contractor safety management, inductions and compliance
Supporting emergency preparedness, drills and response capability
Leading SHE reporting,



trend analysis and performance improvement initiatives
Our Ideal Candidate:
You will be a confident, proactive safety professional who is comfortable operating at both a strategic and operational level. You enjoy working closely with leaders, influencing outcomes and building practical, fit‐for‐purpose systems that work in a processing environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Minimum 3 years' experience in Safety, WHS or SHE roles within manufacturing, processing or similar high‐risk environments
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and safety management systems (experience with MYOSH or similar systems preferred)
Proven experience leading or supporting incident investigations (ICAM or equivalent)
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
A practical, solutions‐focused mindset with a strong safety and sustainability mindset
Relevant qualifications in Work Health & Safety (Diploma or higher essential)
