Techforce Personnelare currently seeking experienced Electricians with HV Termination and Substation experience to join a major ******kV substation construction project in Recent South Wales, commencing late August to early September.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale transmission infrastructure project supporting Australia's growing energy sector.

About the Role
n
Working as part of the construction team, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Installation of primary and secondary electrical equipment
n
High Voltage cable installation and terminations
n
Earthing system installation
n
Protection and control system installation
n
Equipment fit-out and assembly
n
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
n
Testing and commissioning support
n
Maintaining high safety and quality standards on site
n
n
Skills & Experience To be successful, you will ideally have:
n
n
Current Electrical Licence
n
Proven experience performing HV cable terminations
n
Previous substation construction
experienceExperience
working on transmission substations (132kV-330kV)
n
Exposure to utility-scale renewable energy projects
n
Experience with primary and secondary systems
n
Strong understanding of protection and control systems
n
Ability to work effectively within a project team environment
n
n
Tickets & Qualifications Applicants must hold:
n
n
Unrestricted Electrical Licence
n
Construction White Card
n
EWP Licence (highly regarded)
n
Working at Heights
n
First Aid Certificate (desirable)
n
Current Driver's Licence
n
HV Authorisations and competencies highly regarded
n
n
