Qualifications:

Tertiary qualifications in relevant IT disciplines or similar.
n
8+ years of IT experience.
n

n

Experience:

n

n
Application support and Testing experience, with current active knowledge of relevant software tools.
n
Application troubleshooting skills, such as use of command tools, shell scripting, able to read programming languages, installation of business-critical applications.
n
Full software development life cycle and methodologies working on Tomcat, WebLogic or similar middleware server environment.
n
Strong working knowledge of security roles, issues and risks in a medium level enterprise.
n
Working primarily on Projects as well as supporting BAU environments.
n
Demonstrate a robust understanding of how to work with other teams, i.e. Architects, Analysts, Test and Infrastructure teams.
n
Preferred knowledge in working with Logistics Operations Systems or Container Terminal Operations Systems.
n
Excellent written & verbal communication skills, able to communicate at all levels.
n
Good interpersonal skills – including leadership and business liaison skills.
n
Knowledge of customer service level agreements (SLAs).
n
Excellent organisational, planning,



prioritisation skills and attention to details.
n
Adaptable with willingness to adapt to the dynamic working environment.
n
Ability to quickly understand and utilize recent concepts, processes, and systems.
n
Knowledge of JMS, XPATH, XQUERY, SOAP and REST – Mandatory.
n
Key skills required are JAVA, Web service, PL/SQL, JMS, XML, XSD, JSON.
n
Preferable skills are Oracle Service Bus (OSB), BPEL, SOA, WebLogic, Spring, Hibernate and REACT.
n
Min 6+ years of Java and J2EE design & programming including web development experience.
n
EDI Messaging concepts – Advanced Level.
n
WLI /OSB Development – Advanced Level.
n
SOA / BPEL Development – Advanced Level.
n
Java (J2EE) Programming – Advanced Level.
n
Oracle SQL and PL/SQL – Intermediate Level.
n
Shell Scripting – Advanced Level.
n
