The Opportunity
n
As the Management Accountant for the Bulk Logistics division under the Visy Logistics division, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our financial operations and contributing to the success of the Visy Logistics operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, providing critical financial insights, analysis, and reporting to facilitate informed decision-making. This is a high revenue growth area and business partnering closely with operations to deliver new projects.

The Role
n
You'll report to the Finance Manager and be based in either our Epping office, with a flexible split of 3 days in the office and 2 from home. In this role, you'll partner with the Bulk Logistics management team, providing financial and accounting support to help drive business growth.
n
The primary purpose of the role includes responsibility for the following areas:
n
n
Financial reporting and forecasting, delivering accurate monthly results and actionable insights
n
Analyse prime material costs, identifying variances and supporting cost optimisation
n
Enhance R&M; analytics and dashboards (Qlik) to improve visibility of cost drivers
n
Manage Capital Expenditure (CWIP) from proposal through to capitalisation and budget alignment
n
Oversee major shutdown (MSD) costs, resources, and contracts, driving efficiency and delivery
n
Support the annual budgeting process with accurate and timely cost data
n
n
What you bring to the team:

5+ years' experience in finance or accounting roles
n
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders
n
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
n
Proven problem-solving skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
n
Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
n
Advanced Excel skills and strong overall system capability (SAP/Hyperion desirable)
n
Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to work
n
Adaptable, quick to learn, and committed to delivering results
n
