The Role
n
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
n
n
End-to-end fortnightly payroll processing for *********employees across multiple states, including shift workers, timesheet-based staff and salaried employees
n
Ensure payroll compliance with Australian legislation, awards, enterprise agreements, superannuation, taxation and leave entitlements
n
Conduct ad hoc payroll audits to verify wages, superannuation, leave entitlements and deductions
n
Respond to employee and manager payroll queries; maintain solid working relationships across HR, Finance and operational teams
n
Assist with the preparation of BAS, FBT,



PTS and other compliance work
n
Support the transition to a new payroll system, including data validation, testing, process mapping and post-go-live issue resolution
n
Maintain robust payroll records and ensure data integrity across all payroll systems
n
Assistance with other ad hoc accounting duties if/when required
n

The Person
n
n
Considerable end-to-end payroll experience, ideally within a manufacturing, industrial or multi-site environment
n
Prior involvement in a payroll system migration or implementation
n
Sound knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards and enterprise agreements
n
Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, reconciliations and data analysis
n
High level of accuracy, confidentiality and the ability to meet strict payroll deadlines
n
Robust communication and problem-solving skills; confident supporting employees and managers across multiple sites
n
