At CraigCare, we believe mealtimes are about more than nutrition—they're an important part of our residents' daily wellbeing and enjoyment. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Hand at Moonee Ponds VIC Home to join our dedicated hospitality team and help create a positive dining experience for our residents.

About You:

n

n
Previous kitchen, hospitality, or food service experience
n
Sound knowledge of food safety practices (Food Safety Certificate preferred)
n
Positive, team-focused, and customer-service oriented
n
Strong communication skills and a can-do attitude
n
Flexible to work across a rotating roster, including weekends
n

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

Assist with food preparation, presentation, and meal service

n

Maintain a clean, secure, and hygienic kitchen environment

n





Support the monitoring and recording of Food Safety Program requirements

n

Complete cleaning and sanitization tasks in accordance with food safety and CraigCare standards

n

Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional service to residents

n

Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times

n

Key Requirements:

n

n
- NDIS Clearance (or willing to obtain)
n
- Police check clearance in case no NDIS clearance (or willing to obtain)
n
- Proof of Work rights in Australia
n
- Proof of Flu vaccination (current year)
n
