Our client is a well-established and growing business seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for either a full-time or part time role within a supportive and skilled environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the business while also providing payroll, HR administration and compliance support.

About the Role

n

As the Bookkeeper / Accountant, you will be responsible for:

n

n
Managing daily bookkeeping and accounting functions.
n
Processing end-to-end payroll accurately in accordance with relevant awards and pay rates.
n
Interpreting and applying union pay rates and conditions, particularly the CFMEU Award.
n
Assisting with HR administration, including maintaining employee records and supporting general HR processes.
n
Maintaining CM3 compliance documentation and ensuring compliance requirements are met.
n
Preparing financial reports and assisting with other accounting functions.
n
Providing general administrative support as required.
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:





n

n
A minimum of 4–5 years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
n
Demonstrated experience processing payroll and interpreting up-to-date awards.
n
Strong knowledge of CFMEU pay rates and employment conditions (highly regarded).
n
Previous HR administration experience (preferred).
n
Experience with CM3 or similar contractor compliance systems.
n
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
n
High attention to detail with strong accuracy.
n
The ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
n
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
n
