Responsibilities

Assist chefs with basic food preparation
n
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
n
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and food prep areas
n
Dispose of rubbish and recycling appropriately
n
Follow food safety and hygiene standards
n
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
n
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
n
n
Requirements

n
Ready and able to work long shifts (11+ hours a day)
n
Be versatile in your approach to work
n
A outstanding attitude with your work
n
Be neat in tidy
n
Be able to work alone or part of a team. You will be required to work an average of 30 hours per week. The term of work will be from August 2026 to August 2027
n
You will be paid either under the Hospitality Industry (General) Award [MA000009],
General Retail Industry Award [MA000004] or the Restaurant Industry Award [MA000119] - The work will range in pay from an ordinary rate of Introductory, Levels 1 to 4 - $33.05/hr up to $36+/hr
n
Working hours will vary from anywhere from 6am to 11pm, 7 days per week.
n
Overtime rates will be paid where applicable
n
Upskilling & additional allowances may also be paid if you were trained in extra tasks.
n
