ABOUT THE POSITION.
A hands on safety role sitting within a busy civil construction business. You will work directly with project leadership to manage compliance, drive risk management and maintain safety standards across active sites. The expectation is high but so is the support.
DUTIES.
Manage safety compliance across civil construction sites in line with legislation and company standards
Develop and implement project specific safety management plans
Conduct site inspections, audits and toolbox talks
Prepare risk assessments and incident reports
Engage and influence site teams to uphold safety standards day to day
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
Tertiary qualifications in WHS or related field
3 to 5 years experience in civil construction safety
Working knowledge of ISO ****, ISO ***** and ISO *****
Strong communication and reporting skills
Experience with mining projects is highly advantageous
