Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead PMO Manager to join a well-capitalised developer and owner of large-scale renewable energy infrastructure.
n
Working across one of Australia's most significant renewable energy developments, you'll play a pivotal role establishing and leading the Project Management Office throughout construction, ensuring governance, reporting, planning and project controls remain aligned across a complex, multi-disciplinary delivery environment.

This is an chance to work directly alongside senior project leadership and influence major investment decisions while helping deliver nationally significant clean energy infrastructure.

The Opportunity
n
Reporting into the senior project leadership team, the Lead PMO Manager will take ownership of the overall PMO function, providing structure, governance and visibility across all aspects of project delivery.
n
You'll become the central coordination point across engineering, commercial, project controls, construction and executive stakeholders, ensuring leadership has accurate, timely information to support critical decision making.
n
This role offers broad exposure across planning, governance, reporting, project controls and executive engagement on a major capital infrastructure project.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead the overall Project Management Office function throughout construction.
n
Establish and continuously improve project governance frameworks, reporting processes and delivery standards.
n
Coordinate executive reporting, governance forums and decision-making processes.
n
Ensure project schedules, cost reporting, risk registers and delivery milestones remain aligned across multiple workstreams.
n
Oversee integrated project reporting, providing leadership with clear visibility of programme performance, key risks and emerging issues.
n
Drive project controls coordination across schedule, cost, risk, change management and forecasting activities.
n
Monitor critical project milestones and proactively identify potential delivery risks and schedule impacts.
n
Maintain governance around key project decisions, actions, approvals and escalations.
n
Work closely with engineering, construction, commercial and external delivery partners to ensure effective coordination across the project lifecycle.
n
Support continuous improvement initiatives across PMO systems, reporting and governance.
n

About You
n
We're interested in speaking with experienced PMO, Project Controls or Project Services professionals who have operated on complex infrastructure or renewable energy developments.
n
You'll ideally bring:
n
n
Extensive experience leading PMO, project controls or project services functions on major infrastructure projects.
n
Strong understanding of project governance, planning, scheduling and reporting.
n
Experience working across complex EPC, construction or owner-side delivery environments.
n
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate confidently with senior executives.
n
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across engineering, commercial and delivery functions.
n
Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
n
The ability to simplify complex project information into clear executive reporting.
n
Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction, project management or a related discipline.
n
n
Renewable energy, transmission, mining, oil & gas or major infrastructure experience will all be viewed favourably.
