Janes and Stewart Structural & Civil Consultants (JS2) is a well-respected provider of structural & civil engineering consulting services to the Central Queensland region.

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our experienced and collaborative team based in Rockhampton.
n
About the Role
n
This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your career while working alongside highly skilled professionals on projects from concept through to construction completion.

Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Working collaboratively within a team of experienced structural and civil engineers.
n
Delivering civil engineering solutions from project inception through to construction completion.
n
Undertaking a broad range of civil engineering design and documentation, including:n
n
Earthworks
n
Access roads and parking facilities
n
Pavement design
n
Stormwater drainage
n
Water and sewer infrastructure
n
n
n
n
Assisting with development approvals and statutory authority processes.
n
Conducting site inspections and assisting with contract administration during construction.
n
Travelling to project sites throughout Central Queensland as required.
n




Contributing across a diverse range of projects and supporting the wider engineering team.
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
A Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
n
Qualifications suitable to progress towards RPEQ registration.
n
Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
n
A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving abilities.
n
The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
n
A current Australian Driver Licence.
n
n
