About the role We're looking for a friendly, hardworking full time Sales Assistant to join a busy beachside milk bar and takeaway shop in Lorne. If you love working in a busy setting, dealing with lots of locals and tourists, and being right by the beach, this is the job for you. Day to day responsibilities will include
n
n
Greeting locals and tourists, taking orders, and answering easy questions about food and drinks.
n
Operating the cash register and EFTPOS terminal.
n
Serving food & drinks.
n
Stocking shelves.
n
Ensuring the store meets all hygiene requirements.
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
Relevant certificate or good high school results, or solid life skills.
n
At least one or more years paid experience in a retail shop, cafe, or rapid-food venue along with a "can do" attitude.
n
Friendly demeanor along with the ability to stay calm when it gets busy, especially in summer!
n
Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends, public holidays, and busy summer periods.
n
n
You must have unrestricted rights to work full time in Australia to be considered.
