Job Description

We have a outstanding prospect to work in a hands-on role working with road maintenance crews in local councils in the Western suburbs of Melbourne. You will be an integral member of the team preforming essential road maintenance tasks.

Location: Western Suburbs VIC

n

Pay Rate: From $35 - 38 per hour

n

Shifts: Monday to Friday | 7:00am starts

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Operating specialised plant and equipment used for line marking and bitumen sprays.
n
General manual handling tasks (shovelling, raking, sweeping, and heavy lifting)
n
Prep road surfaces for asphalt and sealing.
n
Making sure all work is completed safely, correctly, and to a high standard.
n
Complete pre-start checks and ensure vehicle is maintained to safety standards
n




Communicate clearly with dispatch and site supervisors
n
Adhere to all site safety protocols, including PPE and hazard identification
n

Requirements

n

n
Minimum 6 months relevant civil labouring or road maintenance experience
n
Valid Driver License
n
Must hold a current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
n
Ability to perform physically demanding manual work.
n
