About the Firm:Our client is a specialist employment law and workplace investigations firm with offices in Sydney and Melbourne, recognised consistently as one of Australia's leading boutiques in its field.
Founded to deliver top-tier expertise the firm has built a team of 28 lawyers who advise Australia's largest corporations and government agencies exclusively on employment law matters.
Their investigations practice is nationally recognised, with practitioners operating to trauma-informed, procedurally rigorous standards.
About the role
This role combines workplace investigations with strategic employment law advice, giving you a varied mix of sensitive factual work, client contact, drafting and practical workplace relations advice.
Lead or assist with workplace investigations involving bullying, discrimination, sexual harassment, fraud, misconduct and psychosocial hazards
Advise on termination, performance management and employment contracts
Assist with enterprise agreements, policy development and workplace relations matters
Work with clients across major corporate and government environments
Prepare clear, rigorous written advice and investigation reports
Help manage matters with fairness, confidentiality and procedural discipline
What you'll bring
Minimum 2 years' PAE in employment law or workplace relations
Experience in private practice or a relevant government legal team
Experience conducting complex workplace investigations
Strong written and oral communication skills
Admission in Current South Wales, or eligibility for admission
A genuine interest in workplace investigations, employment law and practical client advice
Additional information
$110,000-$160,000 + super, depending on experience
Genuine hybrid flexibility, with permanent part-time arrangements considered
Complex workplace investigations for major corporate and government clients
