We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our Medical Clinic. This role requires flexibility with rostering, robust billing accuracy, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role
n
As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations while delivering exceptional patient experiences. Your responsibilities will include:
n
Greeting and acknowledging patients promptly and warmly
n
Managing appointment bookings, recalls and waitlists
n
Accurate data entry and maintenance of patient records
n
Processing Medicare, DVA, WorkCover and private billings
n
Explaining fees, rebates and gap payments clearly
n
Managing phone and online enquiries professionally
n
Scanning,
correspondence allocation and general administrative tasks
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and skilled reception area
n
About You
n
Previous medical reception experience (essential)
n
Best Practice PMS experience highly desirable
n
Strong customer service skills with a calm, friendly manner
n
Some understanding of Medicare and billing processes
n
High attention to detail (low error rate in billing/data entry)
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
Reliable, accountable and adaptable with shifts (including evenings/Saturdays)
