Job Description
Truck Art Smash Repairs, located across Australia in 5 states, Manufacturer of custom Stock Crates and Livestock Trailers is currently seeking to employ a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic to commence at their site in Altona North VIC.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers.
Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components
Checking parts
Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance.




Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts.
Skills & Attributes
Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical technology
Minimum of 4 years trade experience
The ability to work within scheduled servicing time frames
The ability to work unsupervised
The ability to complete all required servicing paperwork
Maintain a clean and well organised work
Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience Hours: fulltime Fulltime position available Application opens on 7th of August **** and closes on 7th of September ****.
