Qualifications:

Bachelor in Nursing
n
AHPRA registration
n
Australian working rights (essential)
n
Australian drivers' licence
n
National Police Clearance
n

Responsibilities:

n

n
Execute on the client's care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
n
Help clients with their ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) that is within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide.
n
Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises.
n
Wound care and assessment.
n
Parenteral Nutrition (TPN, PEG and PPT).
n
Bowel management.
n
Medication administration.
n
Basic Catheter change and care.
n
Palliative Care
n
Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
n

Other Skills and Abilities:

n

n
Must be able speak and write in English. Other languages will be an asset.
n
Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designer when needed.
n
Able to travel from client to client in a timely fashion.
n
Passionate about making a difference.
