Work Type: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract (3 to 4 days per week)
We are seeking an experienced Fractional Credit & Risk Manager to join a high-growth organisation within the financial services sector.
This is a hands‐on, embedded role supporting the business on an ongoing basis, with a robust focus on leading the day‐to‐day Credit and Risk function.
This role suits a senior professional who thrives in agile environments and brings deep expertise in credit operations, risk oversight, and team leadership within lending environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the day‐to‐day Credit and Risk function
Oversee credit operations, service levels and performance
Manage and develop an existing Credit team
Support the development and implementation of credit policies
Monitor portfolio performance and risk exposure




Drive process improvements and uplift team capability
Provide reporting, insights and recommendations to the executive team
About You
Proven experience in consumer lending, non-bank lending or fintech lending
Strong understanding of credit risk and credit decisioning frameworks
Demonstrated experience managing credit teams and operations
Hands‐on leadership style with ability to embed into the business
Strong stakeholder engagement and executive reporting capability
