Position: Grid Connection Engineer
Location: Melbourne
Company: Renewable Energy Developer
Salary: $130k–$140k base + super + bonus
Design & Build Recruitment is collaborating with a renewable energy developer to expand their grid connection engineering team, focusing on utility-scale solar and BESS projects throughout Australia.
Key Responsibilities as theGrid Connection Engineer
Support grid connection activities across utility-scale solar and BESS projects
Assist with power system studies and technical assessments
Support GPS and connection application processes
Work closely with AEMO, NSPs, consultants and internal stakeholders
Contribute to technical documentation and project delivery activities
About You
2+ years of experience within the Australian energy market
Exposure to grid connection or power systems engineering
Experience using PSCAD and/or PSSE
Understanding of the NEM and NER frameworks
Engineering degree qualifications
