Due to continued growth, Sydney Steel Supplies are seeking Experienced Boilermakers with a high standard of craftmanship. These roles are based in Sydney Steel Supplies warehouse in Penrith. The positions are Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm, Monday to Friday 2.30 pm - 11 pm with occasional overtime as required.

Key Responsibilities

Perform within a workshop environment
n
Ability to evaluate, interpret and fabricate from detailed technical drawings and specifications, achieving a high-quality result
n
Able to follow instructions and work both in a team and unsupervised
n
Collaborate with the team to complete projects on time and to high-quality standards
n
Follow site-specific safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations
n
Deliver exact and high-quality welding and fabrication
n
Robust communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with all levels of staff
n
Conduct routine maintenance on a range of fixed plant equipment, ensuring efficient operation and safety
n
Responsible for the housekeeping and cleanliness of your designated workspace and worksite in general
n
Completed a certificate III in fabrication & welding (Mandatory)
n
Proven experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
n
Robust background in the fabrication industry, with experience delivering heavy metal solutions for residential, land developments & light commercial
n
Rights to Work in Australia
n
Valid driver's licence
n
Proficient in operating MIG, Plasma cutting and OXY equipment
n
Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
n
Ability to problem-solve and manage multiple tasks effectively
n
Self-motivated, reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
n
Strong sense of teamwork and a collaborative approach to projects
n
