Job Description

n

n
Take end-to-end ownership of logistics execution across warehousing, transport, freight, last-mile delivery and reverse logistics operations.
n
Manage and optimise the performance of 3PL, warehousing and transport partners, ensuring service, cost and operational targets are consistently achieved.
n
Build strong relationships with client supply chain, logistics and operations teams to successfully deliver complex, high-volume programs and launches.
n
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying operational bottlenecks, mitigating risks and enhancing logistics efficiency across the network.
n
Monitor and analyse logistics KPIs, SLAs and cost performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve service and commercial outcomes.
n
Review transport and warehouse costs,



validate invoicing and challenge suppliers to ensure commercial compliance and value delivery.
n
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations, visibility and customer satisfaction.
n

The Successful Applicant

n

A successful Logistics Manager should have:

n

n
Experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably within the FMCG industry.
n
Experience working with or providing for major retailers in Australia
n
Familiarity with logistics software and inventory management systems.
n
Knowledge of local and international shipping regulations and standards.
n
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
n
A proactive approach to improving processes and driving efficiency.
n
