We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Fitter - Project Installer to join our Cairns Workshop team at Nqpetro, a leading installation, maintenance, and service provider in the petroleum industry.

Responsibilities:

Perform fitting and welding tasks as required for installation, maintenance, and repair projects.

Conduct routine maintenance activities on equipment used by the company and its customers.

Skills:

Solid mechanical fitting skills
n
Proficient in welding techniques
n
Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations
n
Ability to work effectively in a team setting
n
Excellent problem-solving abilities
n

Qualifications & Experience:

n
Trade qualification in mechanical fitting or similar field is required.
n
Previous experience in the fuel industry would be an advantage but not necessary.
n
Strong team player who can work unsupervised
n
