We're looking for a mechanically minded Trades Assistant to join our Fleet team in Hendra. Supporting a fleet of 400+ vehicles, plant and equipment, you'll play a key role in preparing vehicles, fitting accessories, assisting with repairs, and keeping our fleet ready for the road.

This is a outstanding chance for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has a genuine interest in vehicles, and wants a stable, long-term role in a busy workshop workplace.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
No two days are exactly the same, but your work may include:
n
Fitting roof racks, toolboxes and vehicle accessories
n
Installing beacons and carrying out basic wiring tasks
n
Assisting Mechanics with vehicle repairs and maintenance
n
Completing minor modifications and vehicle fit-outs
n
Preparing vehicles and equipment for deployment
n
Supporting workshop and storage area operations
n
Working independently once trained and confident in your tasks
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
You don't need to be a qualified mechanic, but you'll be someone who enjoys working on vehicles and isn't afraid to pick up the tools.
n
You'll bring
n
n
A strong mechanical aptitude and practical mindset
n
Experience using hand and power tools
n
An interest in vehicles, machinery or equipment
n
A current unrestricted manual driver's licence
n
The ability to work independently and take initiative
n
A reliable, hands-on approach to work
n
n
Desirable but not essential:

MR or HR licence
n
