Job Description

Fleming's Nurseries is one of Australia's largest premium production nurseries for ornamental trees, fruit trees and shrubs.

We are looking for an experienced HR/HC Driver to join our logistics team.

n

As a Fleming's Truck Driver, you will be responsible for driving one of our fleet trucks delivering stock to customers.

n

Our truck drivers are the face of our company and are a pivotal part of our business.

n

DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES

n

n
Driving any of the Fleming's truck fleet for the purpose of delivering products to customers in safe and timely manner,
n
Multi-drop runs that may include pick up from various nurseries around Metro Melbourne,
n
Interstate runs and overnight travel,
n
Working closely with the despatch department,
n
Customer Contact and paperwork management,
n
Loading and Unloading truck with the despatch team as required,
n
Maintain vehicles to the highest standard,
n
Responsible for cleaning of trucks every week,
n




Varied work hours with minimum 40 hours/week
n

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

n

n
Australian HR/HC Licence,
n
Strong understanding of the Melbourne Metro and surrounding areas,
n
Ability to be away for overnight and interstate trips,
n
Excellent knowledge of Australian Road Regulation by State,
n
Proven safe driving record,
n
Provide VicRoads Licence History Report,
n
Be motivated and possess a robust work ethic,
n
Full understanding of workplace safety and OHS,
n
Be physically fit (manual handling is required due to product type)
n
Have a great work ethic and attitude,
n
Friendly and easy-going,
