Job Description
Victoria Aircon Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team in Vermont. This role will oversee the company's day-to-day HR operations and provide professional advice to management and employees.

The successful candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, HR compliance, payroll coordination, performance management and the continuous improvement of internal HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
n
Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes.
n
Prepare employment contracts, variation letters and other HR documentation.
n
Maintain accurate employee records and confidential HR information.
n
Manage payroll, leave records and employee information through Xero Payroll.
n
Ensure compliance with the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, Modern Awards and other workplace regulations.
n
Provide skilled HR advice and support to directors, managers and employees.
n
Manage employee relations, workplace concerns, disciplinary matters and performance improvement processes.
n
Coordinate performance reviews, salary reviews and employee development.
n
Manage workers' compensation and return-to-work matters where required.
n
Monitor employee attendance, leave entitlements and workplace compliance.
n
Support the development of a positive, professional and compliant workplace culture.
n
Skills and Experience
n
Minimum 3–7 years of relevant HR experience.
n
Previous experience in an HR Manager, Senior HR Advisor or similar position.
n
Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and Modern Awards.
n
Proficiency in Xero Payroll is essential.
n
Demonstrated experience in recruitment, payroll, employee relations and performance management.
n
Experience preparing employment contracts, HR policies and formal workplace correspondence.
n
Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
n
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
n
Strong communication, interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
n
Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information professionally.
n
Native-level Mandarin Chinese and robust written and verbal English communication skills are required.
n
