Joining a team of 5 and reporting to the Quality and Compliance Manager, we seek a Quality and Compliance Officer to ensure the Quality Management System, policies and procedures align with statutory requirements, industry standards, and best practice.
Responsibilities
Identify pending changes in statutory requirements by monitoring updates from available legal and government advisory services
Interpret statutory requirements in conjunction with the Quality and Compliance Manager, Senior Risk Advisor, and relevant managers, as appropriate.
Advise and support relevant functions to maintain compliance with all relevant quality standards and frameworks
Facilitate document development, approval, and review activities.
Manage the document lifecycle via the Management System Library (MSL), including uploading approved documents to MSL, ensuring all documents are versioned, assigned,
and scheduled for review in accordance with organisational requirements.
Contribute to quality, compliance, and related projects, as appropriate.
Provide effective skilled guidance to operational staff including providing high level skilled advice to drive the delivery of high-quality services.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Relevant tertiary qualifications
Experience in a similar role with responsibility for best practice quality management systems
Highly developed writing and communication skills, emotional intelligence, resilience, and empathy
