Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Trade Assistant to join ourt clients maintenance team within a busy food manufacturing environment. This role provides support to fitters, electricians, and maintenance personnel by assisting with repairs, general maintenance tasks, equipment upkeep, and workshop support.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist tradespeople with maintenance, repairs, installations, and breakdowns
n
Support basic mechanical tasks under supervision
n
Clean and maintain machinery, tools, and work areas
n
Prepare tools, equipment, and parts for maintenance activities
n
Assist with stores, stock levels, and general labouring duties
n
Follow all WHS, food safety, and site hygiene requirements
n

About You:

n

n
Trade Assistant experience or strong mechanical aptitude
n
Previous experience in manufacturing, food production, or maintenance environments preferred
n
Valid driver's licence required
n
Solid work ethic with a willingness to learn
n
Ability to work safely, follow instructions,



and work as part of a team
n
Physically fit and comfortable undertaking manual handling tasks
n
Ability to successfully complete a drug and alcohol screening and police check as part of the recruitment process
n
