STIHL Shop Seymour is looking for a Small Engine Mechanic to join our busy team!
n
Our preference is to hire someone with industry qualifications or solid hands-on experience in small engine repairs who can hit the ground running.
n
However, if a keen, hands-on candidate comes along who is ready to learn and commit, we are open to offering an apprenticeship.
n
If you take pride in quality workmanship, know your way around power tools, and have a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you.

About the Role
n
You will be servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of outdoor power equipment, including:
n
n
Ride-on and push mowers
n
Chainsaws, brushcutters, and blowers
n
Generators and small engine machinery
n
Marshall Battery fitment,
equipment pickups/deliveries, and general workshop/yard duties
n
n
You will also interact directly with local customers, so a qualified, helpful attitude is essential.
n
What We're Looking For

Experienced / Qualified Applicants (Preferred):
n
n
Proven hands-on experience or a Trade Qualification in small engines / outdoor power equipment.
n
Robust diagnostic skills to troubleshoot and repair faults efficiently.
n
A genuine passion for mechanical work and a willingness to learn from the ground up.
n
A practical mindset, solid work ethic, and plenty of initiative.
n

Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
