Cook – Bendigo Kogan People Solutions, recruiters, are partnering with a highly rated Indian and healthy cuisine restaurant in the heart of Bendigo Vic. Known for its authentic Indian dishes and high-quality vegan options, they are busy all week and are now seeking a skilled Cook to join the team. 1. Employment: Full time, ongoing 2. Location: Bendigo Vic 3. Salary: Negotiable in the range $80,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation per annum Responsibilities of their recent Cook will include:

High standard meals preparation and quality control (checks of raw materials, temperature controls).
n
Ensure compliance with the HACCP system regarding food handling procedures by strictly adhering to food safety logs, temperature checks, and hygiene protocols.
n
Portion and plate foods in accordance with company policy and procedures.
n
Hygienic food storage in refrigerators.
n
Training of kitchen staff and apprentices as required.
n

To be successfully considered for the role you:

n

n
Possess relevant Certificate III and 2 years working experience, or Certificate IV, or agreed substitute.
n
Have at least 3 or more years of relevant work experience since earning your qualifications.
n
Are available across the working week.
n
Offer proven ability to prioritise, set goals and have the determination to achieve them.
n
Possess a thorough understanding of food safety and HACCP.
n
Have experience working in similar cuisines and similar settings.
n

You must have unrestricted full time Australian working rights to be considered.
