We're looking for an experienced Chemist to lead our R&D; and Quality Control functions. This role is responsible for developing high-quality paint formulations, maintaining technical systems, and ensuring our products meet market and regulatory requirements from concept through to production.
n
You'll play a key role in improving manufacturing processes, supporting product innovation, and ensuring our lab and production teams are equipped to meet both current and future demand.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Develop and approve product formulations and technical documentation
n
Lead Quality Control and R&D; laboratory operations
n
Ensure compliance with ISO****:**** and ISO***** standards
n
Oversee product testing, specifications, and release to market
n
Investigate product complaints and provide technical solutions
n
Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and lab processes
n
Support production efficiency and reduce waste or faulty stock
n




Liaise with suppliers to stay current with industry developments
n
Contribute to safety, environmental, and quality initiatives
n
Participate in company planning and leadership meetings
n
n
What You'll Bring

Tertiary qualification in Chemistry or related science
n
Strong experience in surface coatings / paint formulation
n
Solid understanding of industry standards and regulations
n
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels - is a MUST
n
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
n
