Job Description
Our client based in regional NSW is looking for a full time skilled meat workers for their meat processing plant.
n
Skilled Boners/Slicers
n
n
Table boning.
n
Cutting meat to separate meat, fat, and tissue from around bones.
n
Washing, scraping, and trimming foreign material and blood from meat.
n
Cutting meat into standard meat cuts, and removing internal fat, blood clots, bruises, and other matter to prepare them for packing and marketing.
n
n
Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications
n
n
Excellent knife skills and maintenance of personal equipment
n
Attention to detail
n
Excellent reliability, attendance and timekeeping at work
n
Good communication and positive teamwork
n
Sound problem solving capabilities, including reporting malfunctioning of equipment, or workplace health and safety issues
n




Ability to manage priorities to meet production schedules
n
Ability to work within a cold storage setting and with raw meat products
n
Sound understanding of Australian meat industry
n
AQF Certificate Ill in Meat Processing (in Boning Room)
n
Fully vaccinated for Q Fever (or be willing to undergo the Q Fever vaccination process)
n
Must complete a Pre-employment medical functional drug and alcohol test
n
Minimum of 2 years of experience
n
n
Remuneration: This is subject to your skills, qualifications, and experience but it would be within a guaranteed salary range of between $66,000- $70,000 per annum+ superannuation
