We are seeking an experienced, friendly and professional Medical Receptionist to join our busy and patient-focused medical practice in Oxley.

About the Role
n
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our practice.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Greeting patients with a friendly and qualified manner
n
Managing appointments and telephone enquiries
n
Processing patient billing, Medicare claims and EFTPOS transactions
n
Maintaining accurate patient records
n
Liaising with doctors, nurses and allied health professionals
n
General reception and administrative duties
n
Supporting the team to ensure the efficient running of the practice
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist (essential)
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
n
High attention to detail and accuracy
n
A caring, professional and patient-focused approach
n
The ability to work efficiently in a busy medical practice
n
Flexibility to work alternate Sundays
n
n
Experience with Best Practice software will be highly regarded but is not essential.
n
