You'll enjoy:
n
n

n
No nights and no weekends

A supportive and approachable team
n
Variety and autonomy in your nursing role
n
Genuine continuity of care with your patients

n
Whether you're an experienced Practice Nurse looking for your next long-term role or an RN considering a move into general practice, we'd love to hear from you.
n
What your day might look like
n
One of the great things about general practice nursing is the variety.
n
You'll work closely with our GPs and nursing team across areas including:
n
n
Immunisations and vaccinations
n
Wound care
n
Health assessments and preventative health
n
Chronic disease support
n

Infection prevention and control
n
Cold-chain management

You'll have the opportunity to work independently within your scope while having the support of an experienced clinical team around you.
n
Who we're looking for
n
Above all, we're looking for someone who will be a great addition to our team.
n
You'll be a Registered Nurse who is friendly, reliable, organised and genuinely enjoys caring for patients.
n
You'll need:
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Strong communication and clinical skills
n
A patient-focused approach
n
Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
n
n
Previous general practice or primary care experience is highly regarded, as are immunisation qualifications and experience with Best Practice software.
n
But GP experience isn't necessarily a deal-breaker.
n
If you're a capable RN looking to leave shift work behind and build a career in general practice, we're happy to hear from you too.
n
A little about us
n
St Georges Basin Medical Centre is an established and growing general practice serving St Georges Basin and the surrounding South Coast community.
n
We're a busy practice, but we're also a close-knit team.
n

n
We're looking for someone who wants to become part of that team.
n
Hours that work for you
n
We're open to discussing part-time or full-time hours depending on the right candidate.
n
For the right person, we're happy to have a conversation about what works.
n
Salary
n
$42–$48 per hour + superannuation
n
Your rate will reflect your experience, general practice skills and ability to work independently.
n
Interested?
n
If you've been thinking about making a change—or you're simply curious about what working in general practice could look like, we'd love to hear from you.
n
All applications will be treated confidentially.
n
Come and build a rewarding general practice nursing career on the NSW South Coast—with your nights and weekends back.
