Job Description
Randstad is seeking a skilled and experienced Boilermaker / Welder to join our engineering workshop team. This is a dedicated workshop-based position focused on the fabrication and welding of mild steel components and structural elements. The daily workload primarily involves MIG welding and
structural/component
fabrication from engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Fabricate, assemble, and weld mild steel components, frames, and structures to specification.
n
Perform high-quality MIG welding on a variety of material thicknesses.
n
Read and accurately interpret technical engineering drawings and blueprints.
n
Cut, grind, mark out, and prepare materials prior to assembly.
n
Operate standard workshop machinery safely (e.g.Angle grinders, drills, Sanders and overhead cranes).
n
Maintain high quality control standards and ensure all work passes visual inspections.
n
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workplace environment.
n

Key Requirements
n
n




Trade Qualification in Boilermaking, Metal Fabrication, or relevant discipline.
n
Proven experience in mild steel fabrication and MIG welding.
n
High proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
n
Robust attention to detail and standard of workmanship.
n
Commitment to safe work practices and workshop protocols.
n
