This large property business has been a leader in its industry for decades. Over the past five years, it has achieved significant growth through both organic and inorganic channels, prompting a strategic restructure to support its expansion. With strong flexibility and explicit pathways for career progression, this role will be a highly sought-after opportunity in the market.

Due to growth, the business is now seeking to appoint a talented Financial Accountant to join the team. This positions responsibilities will include:

Assist with month-end activities including reconciliations, accruals, journals and fixed assets register maintenance
n
Partake in annual budgeting and monthly forecasting
n
Preparation of comprehensive cashflow statements
n




Collaborate with stakeholders to gather financial data, track budget variances, and assist with accurate and timely reporting
n
Analysis data, identifying trends and providing insights to support commercial decision making
n
Various tax returns such as BAS, FBT and corporate tax
n
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations and internal policies
n
n
For you to be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will be CA/CPA qualified (or studying towards) with at least 3 years' experience inside a large chartered firm (open on business services or audit) or complex commercial organisation. You will also need to be a fantastic communicator, possess strong technical skills and work well inside a team oriented environment.
