Role Description:
n
This is a contract role for a General Psychologist, or Clinical Psychologist. The Psychologist will be responsible for providing individual therapy, developing treatment plans and being an all-round team player. This is a hybrid role, with work being performed at home (via telehealth) and on-site at our clinic in Newcomb (Geelong).

Qualifications and Experience:
n
n
Excellent communication and listening skills
n
Knowledge of best-practice interventions
n
Experience working with diverse populations
n
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
n
Minimum one year experience with demonstrated knowledge of evidenced based practices
n
Generally Registered or Clinical Psychologist (AHPRA registered)
n




It is desirable that you hold a Medicare Provider Number (though, support can be given to attain this).

About You:
n
n
Experience working with NDIS clients is highly desirable
n
Experience working with clients across the lifespan who present with various presentations
n
Ability to work independently and able to commit to the clients referred to you by Calm Minds Clinic (at a minimum of two days per week)
n
Own ABN (or have willingness to obtain one)
n
Own computer/ laptop to engage with clients who prefer to be seen via Telehealth (must also have stable internet connection and a private workspace whilst working from home).
