A part of the Medical team, the Geriatric Medicine Registrar will typically oversee inpatients requiring ongoing assessment and rehabilitation, following acute illness or a traumatic event.

The Registrar will assist in one or more of the following outpatient clinics: Memory, Falls & Balance, Continence and Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment, as well as Telehealth reviews.

Full time, 12 month contract

Hours per week average 40hours per week

The Requirements

MBBS or equivalent degree with current General Registration with AHPRA
n
At least 3 years post-graduate experience
n
Current membership of the College Training Program
n
CA pathway candidates with 3+ years of experience in Geriatrics / HITH encouraged to apply
