ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
n
n
Accountability for all maintenance and repair (Electrical & Mechanical).
n
Lead efforts to upgrade plant/facility for efficiency, safety, and reliability.
n
Plant regulatory requirements.
n
Maintenance/knowledge
of injection moulding machines, their ancillaries, and robots.
n
Oversee General Contractors and manages their visits and equipment maintenance schedules.
n
Responsible for site infrastructure and facilities maintenance requirements.
n
In conjunction with the QA Manager, prepare and update ISO procedures as and when required.
n
Participate and manage ISO audit requirements related to maintenance dept.
n
Responsible for upkeeping of the spare parts management system.
n
Develop and maintain Plant/Equipment preventative maintenance programs.
n




Responsibility of keeping preventive maintenance program up to date.
n
Supporting production with the manufacture of small jigs and fixtures.
n
Responsible for the safe operation and tidiness of the maintenance workshop, equipment, and tools.
n
Lead projects involving commissioning, installation, modification, or renovation of building and equipment.
n
Collaborating with engineers and suppliers, monitor or plan jobs to be completed by outside contractors.
n
Controls costs, scheduling, and development of maintenance activities
n
Manage supplies, purchases, and budget set by reporting Manager.
n
On call for emergency repairs required outside regular hours.
n
Actively attending all the maintenance requests and updating the maintenance log.
n

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS
n
n
Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics engineering or Equivalent
n
Minimum 8-10 years of relevant industry experience.
n
Connect Disconnect electrical license
n
n
SKILLS/ABILITIES / COMPETENCIES
n
n
Strong commitment to WH&S; in the workplace.
n
Proficient in basic office applications MS Word, Excel.
n
Familiarity with automation system controls & PLC programming e.g., Siemens, Unitronics.
n
Strong knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical systems e.g., speed drives SEW,



Festo pneumatics, hydraulics.
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
n
A proactive approach with an attention to detail and a proven ability to multitask.
n
Understand manufacturing and industrial breakdowns related to injection moulding machines and fault finding.
n
Excellent communication, interpersonal and coordination skills.
