About the Role
n
An exciting opportunity exists for a recent or soon-to-be graduate to commence their career as a HSE Coordinator.
n
Working alongside experienced HSE professionals, Project Managers and Site Managers, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting health, safety and environmental performance across a range of commercial construction projects. This is a practical, site-based role where you'll spend significant time engaging with project teams, subcontractors and workers to help promote a positive safety culture.

Full training, mentoring and professional development will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone eager to learn and build a long-term career in construction safety.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Conduct site safety inspections and identify hazards.
n
Support compliance with Victorian OH&S; legislation, company procedures and client requirements.
n
Assist with maintaining safety documentation, SWMS and permits.
n
Participate in incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
n
Deliver site inductions and participate in toolbox talks.
n
Assist with safety audits,
inspections and reporting.
n
Support subcontractor onboarding and compliance.
n
Maintain electronic safety records and registers.
n
Build positive relationships with project teams to encourage safe work practices.
n

Confidence engaging with people in a construction environment.
n
The ability to work both independently and within a team.

Essential Requirements
n
n
Completed or currently completing a tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Health, Safety & Workplace or a related discipline.
n
Current Victorian Driver License.
n
Construction White Card.
n
Ideally experienced using Procore.
n
n
Desirable
n
n
First Aid and CPR certification.
n
Return to Work Coordinator training.
n
Previous construction experience (labouring, trade or work placement).
n
Knowledge of ISO ***** Safety Management Systems.
n
n
