Production Workers / Machine Operators – Afternoon Shift

Our client is one of Australia's leading manufacturers and distributors of food and beverage consumable products. Due to continued growth, they are seeking experienced Production Workers / Machine Operators to join their expanding manufacturing team on the afternoon shift.
n

Monday to Friday shifts (with overtime as required)
n
Afternoon shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
n
Pay rate: $37.17 per hour + overtime rates
n
Temp-to-permanent chance for successful candidates

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Operate production and packaging machinery
n
Load and unload raw materials
n
Feed raw materials into machinery for production
n
Transfer and palletise finished goods
n
Operate automatic lifting trolleys (rewinding packaging film rolls)
n
Perform general pick and pack duties
n
Follow company policies and procedures
n
Maintain housekeeping and assist with warehouse duties
n
n
About You
n
To be considered,
you will ideally have:
n
n
Previous production or manufacturing experience
n
Experience in food manufacturing (highly desirable)
n
HACCP and food safety awareness
n
Ability to work effectively in a team setting
n
Strong communication skills
n
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
n
High attention to detail
n
Physical fitness (ability to lift up to 25kg)
n
Reliable transport
n
Availability to work Monday–Friday and overtime when required
n
Immediate availability (preferred)
n
