Truck Art Smash Repairs, located across Australia in 5 states, Manufacturer of custom Stock Crates and Livestock Trailers is currently seeking to employ a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic to commence at their site in Altona North VIC. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
n
n
Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers.
n
Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components
n
Checking parts
n
Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
n
Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance.
n




Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts.
n
n
Skills & Attributes
n
n
Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical technology
n
Minimum of 4 years trade experience
n
The ability to work within scheduled servicing time frames
n
The ability to work unsupervised
n
The ability to complete all required servicing paperwork
n
Maintain a clean and well organised work
n
n
Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience Hours: fulltime Fulltime position available Application opens on 7th of August **** and closes on 7th of September ****.
