Job Description
n
Provide support to Project Manager or Project Engineering personnel in the areas of: project scheduling, configuration management, finance and accounting, contracting, limited data analyses, database development or data gathering, preparation of technical/program reports or briefings, test plans and reports, and associated documentation, test or
validation/verification
assistance
n
Participate in test or project events as assigned by Project Manager or Project Engineer, reports status and results
n
Plan/oversee test or project events as assigned by Program Manager or Engineering supervisor, report status and results
n
Provide subject matter expertise in C-5 landing gear, flight controls and cargo loading
n
Provide technical support at Robins AFB
n
Review technical data for accuracy and thoroughness, and provide recommendations for change or improvement
n
Provide support for Technical Assistance Requests including 107's and 202's
n
Provide analysis support to Configuration Control Board (CCB) and Engineering Requirements Review Board (ERRB)
n
Effectively use data systems such as FEDLOG, LIMS-EV, D043, D035, FEDMALL, HAYSTACK, ATEAMS
n
Provide support on performing system and component level fault isolation of aircraft electrical and electronics systems using technical data and wiring schematics.
n
Perform testing or project events as assigned by Program Manager and report status, results and proposed solutions.
n
Identify and evaluate alternate solutions for the functional system Electrical Wiring Interconnect System (EWIS) and avionic deficiencies which adversely affect aircraft safety, readiness, and sustainability.
n
Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) on project events as assigned by Program Manager and report status and results
n
Other duties as assigned

Education/Training (both required and desired):
n
n
Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline required
n
n
Experience:
n
n
5+ years of qualified experience in the required task area
n
Ability to understand aircraft electrical wiring diagrams, aircraft drawings, Fault Isolation (FI) guides, technical order (TO) and work unit code (WUC) documentation required
n
Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally to present material and briefings to management and government personnel required
n
n
Security:
n

Must be a US citizen
n
Active Secret clearance or higher required
n
n
Physical Requirements:
n
n
Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
n
Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
n
Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
n
Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time
n
