Scope Protective & Data Solutions is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Security Technician to join our team.
n
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys technology and hands-on work and wants to build a long-term career in the electronic security industry.
n
Working alongside our experienced technicians, you'll receive practical, on-the-job training across a wide range of security, data and communications systems.
n
You'll learn to install, service, maintain and fault-find systems including:
n
n
CCTV and surveillance systems
n
Alarm and intrusion detection systems
n
Access control systems
n
Intercom systems
n
Data cabling and communications
n
Networking and connected security equipment
n
Testing and commissioning of security systems
n
Fault finding and maintenance
n
n
We're looking for someone who is reliable, punctual,



willing to learn and takes pride in their work. You'll need to be comfortable working as part of a team, communicating with customers and working across a variety of sites and projects.
n
An interest in electronics, computers, networking or technology would be a excellent advantage.
n
No previous security industry experience is required. What matters most to us is your attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn.
n
A current driver's license would be highly regarded.
n
School leavers and applicants looking to begin their first trade career are encouraged to apply.

At Scope, you'll be supported throughout your apprenticeship while developing the practical and technical skills needed to become a qualified Security Technician.
