We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Assistant Centre Director to join our team at Mini Masterminds Leichhardt (32-place centre).

About the Role
n
As Assistant Centre Director, you will work closely with the Centre Director to support the day-to-day operations of the service while maintaining the highest standards of education and care.
n
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will mentor and support educators, build strong relationships with children and families, and help drive a positive team culture. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the centre and lead the service in the Centre Director's absence.

Key Responsibilities
n

Support the Centre Director with the daily operations of the centre
n
Lead, mentor, and support educators to deliver high-quality education and care
n
Foster a positive, cooperative, and inclusive team culture
n
Build strong relationships with children, families, and the local community
n
Support compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and all relevant legislation
n
Assist with staffing, rostering, and centre administration
n
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and continuous improvement processes
n
Lead the centre confidently in the absence of the Centre Director
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved)
n
Previous leadership experience within an Early Childhood Education setting
n
Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
n
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
n
Current Child Protection
training/certificate
n
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Framework (NQF), and National Quality Standards (NQS)
n
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
n
A genuine passion for mentoring educators and delivering high-quality education and care
n
n
