Job Description We are seeking a qualified and experienced Indian cook to join our catering team. The successful applicant must have a minimum of two years' experience preparing authentic Indian cuisine in a commercial kitchen, with experience in high-volume catering or function service preferred. Key Responsibilities
n
n
Prepare and cook authentic Indian cuisine for weddings, corporate events, private functions, and outdoor catering.
n
Prepare ingredients, sauces, marinades, and other food items to ensure efficient service.
n
Assist with menu planning and the preparation of catering menus.
n
Ensure food quality, consistency,
and presentation meet company standards.
n
Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
n
Train and supervise cooks and kitchen staff where required.
n
Assist with stock control, food preparation planning, and minimising food wastage.
n
Work collaboratively with the catering team to ensure the timely preparation and delivery of food for events.

Requirements
n
n
Minimum two years' experience as an Indian cook.
n
Strong knowledge of authentic Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.
n
Experience preparing food for catering events or function centres is highly desirable.
n
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
n
Robust organisational and time management skills.
n
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
