MACHINE OPERATOR - MANUFACTURING - PADSTOW

Labourpower are recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Padstow.

n

We are seeking applicants with hands-on experience operating large industrial manufacturing machinery in a production workplace. Experience operating quilting, stitching, laminating or other automated textile/fabric processing equipment will be highly regarded. This is not a general machine operating role - previous experience setting up and operating large industrial production machinery is essential.

Monday to Friday
n
5:00am - 1:00pm
n
Overtime available as required
n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
Operate large industrial production machinery to manufacture high-quality products.
n
Set up and adjust machinery to suit different production specifications.
n
Read and interpret production sheets and work instructions.
n
Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments where required.
n
Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet company standards.
n
Maintain a clean and safe work setting.




n
Manual handling of materials throughout the production process.
n

n

To be successful you will have:

n

n
Previous experience operating large industrial manufacturing machinery (essential).
n
Experience with automated textile, fabric, foam, stitching, quilting or similar production equipment is highly regarded.
n
Ability to read and follow production specifications.
n
Robust mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
n
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
n
Experience working in a manufacturing or production setting.
n
Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
n
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
n
Availability to work overtime when required.
n
Current driver's licence and own reliable transport.
n
