About the Role

We are seeking an Accountant to join our team to undertake a varied mix of tax, compliance, and business advisory services. The role involves working with a broad range of clients, delivering high-quality accounting solutions while expanding your professional capabilities.

This position offers flexible working hours and is open to both full-time and part time applicants.

Key Responsibilities

n

Prepare Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, BAS lodgements for a diverse range of clients.
n
Provide practical tax compliance and business advisory support.
n
Maintain accurate client records and manage workflow to meet critical statutory deadlines.
n
Use a range of accounting and practice software, including HandiSoft, MYOB, Reckon, and Xero.
n




Communicate effectively with clients and team members to build strong skilled relationships.
n
Contribute positively to team collaboration, especially during peak busy periods.
n
Participate in ongoing professional development and learning opportunities.
n

About You

n

n
Technical Capability: A minimum of 2 years' experience in Public Practice.
n
Core Skills: Robust attention to detail, advanced problem-solving abilities, and superior MS Excel / Word skills.
n
Work Ethic: Excellent time management, self-motivation, and the ability to prioritise tasks and handle peak periods effectively.
n
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
n
Qualifications: Possess or be actively pursuing relevant tertiary accounting qualifications.
