About the role
n
As a TAE Teacher, you will deliver and assess the TAE***** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, equipping students with the skills and confidence to become trainers and assessors within the VET sector.
n
Through practical and industry-relevant learning experiences,
you'll help learners develop the capabilities required to deliver, assess and support quality training across a range of educational and workplace settings.
n
What you'll do:
n
n
Deliver engaging training and assessment across TAE qualifications
n
Facilitate learning in face-to-face, virtual and blended environments
n
Assess learner competency and provide timely, constructive feedback
n
Support students to develop practical training, facilitation and assessment skills
n
Create positive, inclusive and engaging adult learning experiences
n
Maintain vocational and VET sector currency through ongoing professional development
n
Utilise contemporary learning and assessment technologies
n
Participate in moderation, validation and continuous improvement activities
n
Maintain compliance with regulatory, quality and funding requirements
n
Collaborate with colleagues and key stakeholders to support student success
n

What You'll Bring

Strong understanding of the Australian VET sector and competency-based training
n
Experience delivering training and assessment within vocational education
n
Passion for adult learning and student success
n
Excellent communication, facilitation and coaching skills
n
Experience working with diverse learner cohorts
n
Strong organisational and digital literacy skills
n
Commitment to quality educational outcomes and continuous improvement
n

Qualifications/Requirements
n
n
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE*****) and/or a higher teaching qualification.
n
Vocational qualifications relevant to the course delivered.
n
Current industry experience to maintain vocational currency
n
