NCPT is seeking a skilled and experienced Boilermaker to join our growing team on a full-time basis.

About the Role
n
As a Boilermaker with NCPT, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and welding of steel and metalwork components to produce high-quality, certified craneable items. This role is critical to ensuring our equipment meets strict safety, quality, and compliance standards.
n
You will work from engineering drawings and specifications to manufacture, repair, and maintain heavy-duty fabricated steel products designed for safe crane lifting, storage, transport, and handling of materials and equipment on construction sites.

Items you may be involved in building include:

Lifting cages
n
Duct racks
n
Bri-Packs
n
Toolboxes
n
Grout pumps

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate, assemble, and weld steel components to specification.
n
Interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical plans.
n
Perform repairs and modifications to existing equipment.
n
Ensure all fabricated items meet certification, quality, and safety requirements.
n
Conduct quality checks and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
n
Maintain a safe and organised work environment.
n
Assist with site-based work when required.

Skill & Experience
n
About You
n
n
Trade qualification as a
Boilermaker/Welder.
n
Proven experience in steel fabrication and welding.
n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
n
Knowledge of safe work practices and fabrication standards.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
n
Construction Industry White Card (or ability to obtain prior to commencement).
n
Ability and willingness to work on construction sites when required.
n
Commitment to workplace safety.
n
Experience fabricating craneable or lifting equipment.
n
Dogging, rigging, or other construction-related tickets.
n
Experience working within the construction industry.
